I have never used a ricer before but am looking forward to using this one because it seems to be very easy to use.

We had a ricer in our house when I was a kid that was wonderful. You could cook fruits like apples or vegetables like potatoes with their peels on, put through the ricer and have a smooth finished product. Tried potatoes in this ricer and the ricer bent. I can no longer use it. I didn't get even one use out of it.
