The Donvier yogurt maker is a breeze to use. Just prepare the milk, fill the cups, set the timer and you are done. When the yogurt is done, there is a more than adequate audible alarm.
The unit is very well made. The instructions are very clear. I would recomend this unit to anyone interested in preparing their own yogurt.
Yogurt preparation involves high temperatures consequently children would need VERY close supervision using any yogurt maker.

I purchased this to make nonfat yogurt. Various recipes were used but I was unable to make the nonfat yogurt as I like it. Also, the directions that come with the yogurt maker are not accurate. I think for whole milk yogurt, this would be fine, but I think for the money, you could get a different type of yogurt maker.

I have made whole milk yogurt in the past with a Salton yogurt maker and it was delicous.

But cooking.com was amazing in refunding my purchase - which I received the day after they received the return.

I found the yogurt makers' instructions easy to follow and was very pleased with the results.

Have made several batches of yogurt and love the results. I purchased to make yogurt for my baby grandson and for in my cooking (lowering fat) substituting sour cream in baking and 1/2 the mayonaise in salad dressing etc. Am able to make one batch with 4 servings whole milk for grandson and 4 non-fat for me.

This yogurt maker is excellent. It's very easy to use and makes great yogurt at a fraction of the cost. I use this yogurt maker 2-3 times a month and have gotten the process down to a science. I needed to try various cook times to get the best result.

I love this product and plan to buy one as a gift for a friend.

I got perfect yogurt on the first try! The lids fit tightly and the machine is small enough to stick in a closet. The yogurt is terriffic, too.

Nice yogurt maker

Nicely designed and makes tastier yogurt than anything you buy in the store. I eat two or three a day with crushed raspberries or strawberries on top. Cooking.com delivered it very quickly, too.

Read about this product in a book. It works like a charm. Easy to use. Cool to the touch so it's safe around my toddler. Yogurt tastes good. I use soymilk so I add some honey when I'm done to take the bite out. I'd highly recommend it.

I am new to yogurt making so I did research on the web to see what yogurt makers were highly recommended . This Dovier yogurt maker seem to always be highly recommended . I see why know . Every batch of yogurt I have made has come out good . It's easy to use , I love the timer , and the thermometer that tells u when to add your starter. I like the fact u can make 8 individual cups of yogurt. very cool yogurt maker.

Great Product! The product guide book has recipes and directions for usage. Making yogurt is not tricky to make and you have to understand that with all cooking... it is trial and error. At first, my children were a little concerned that the yogurt did not taste like the yogurt in the stores. Remember, you have to keep trying.

Happy days are here again

I used to make my yogurt over twenty years ago with an electric maker. It was very uncomplicated but didn't have the safety features built into it like the Donvier one does.
So far so good, we can hardly wait to try the recipies in the book you sent with it!

Makes really delicious and tasty yogurt far better than what you would buy in the store. Wonderful new appliance addition to my kitchen.

best yogurt maker

I purchased the Donvier yogurt maker when a friend recommended it. I use it every week. It makes a perfect and delicious tasting yogurt when i use MEHADRIN PLAIN YOGURT as a starter. i add some honey and blended strawberries and it makes a deliceous breakfast! i wouldn't purchase commercial yogurts anymore. Home made is way better!
