Just freeze and make ice cream!

My old one had to have rock salt and ice to make the ice cream. This one you just freeze and make your ice cream of choice. I bought this extra one so I have it in the freezer when I'm using the other one. So I can make ice cream anytime! It has made ice cream making so much easier.

I ordered the extra bowl because when you're in the mood for ice cream or frozen treats, one flavor is never enough. I was warned that the ice cream would probably have more of a texture similar to soft serve. However, this was not true. The ice cream froze to a firm consistancy in just 15-20 minutes. I'm not sure what the consistancy would be after putting the ice cream in the freezer for a couple of hours. It doesn't last that long.

Place the bowl in the back of the freezer or in the bottom of a chest freezer for best results. Place a back of frozen vegetables inside the bowl to speed the freezing process. This bowl is much nicer to work with than ice and salt used in old fashioned ice cream makers.

This is not a storage container!!!

You think you are buying a storage container for your ice cream after you make it, but this is just an additional bowl to use in your ice cream maker - you cannot store ice cream in this in a freezer.

an extra flavor to have on hand

its great because you can make another flavor after you finish making the 1st one and whenfinished you can transfer your ice cream to another container and get the freezer container back in the freezer so the chemical gets ready for the next batch meanwhile the extra bowl is already to go.

This product is easy to handle and wash. Make sure it is kept in the freezer for at least 12 hours before using. Otherwise your ice cream will not thicken correctly. I keep mine in the freezer at all times. It is best to keep it secured in a ziploc baggy to keep ice crystals from forming while freezing.

I had bought this Icre Cream Maker and love it. It is so easy to make and I bought a extra bowl so when I have guess over I will have plenty of ice cream and I make one when sevring dinner and then when we get done with dinner I will start the other one so that I will have plenty of ice cream.

It is sooo easy to make homemade ice cream now! My family is completely spoiled. We like soft serve ice cream so with 2 bowls we can have two different freshly made varities! Only down side is- it's so good you're likely to gain weight.
