  • As an English teadrinker, I like to think I know my kettles, and this is one of the best I have ever owned. The fact that the heating element is not in direct contact with the water, the easy-to-position-on-the-base- unit and its general good looks are the things that impress me most. It heats water as quickly as any I've used, and the water temperature is fine. This is used a dozen times a day on average, and with recent English visitors here, even more than that. I've had no problems.

  • I like this product very much and am extremely happy with my purchase. I used to own a different brand automatic tea kettle approximately the same price and this one is far superior. Only suggestion would be to make the spout a little longer to keep the steam from drifting back to your hand when you pour.

    I recommend this product.

  • pouring spout design and placement

The pouring spout is too high on the body of the tea kettle and too short. When you pour, the kettle feels unbalanced and needs to be lifted high and tilted very far down once the first mug is poured out. This is hard on people with shoulder and/or arm weakness.

  • I am very happy with this tea kettle. It boils water extremely fast, which is very useful when my 3-yr old demands instant oatmeal "now." It was on the expensive side, but the quality is worth it.

    I recommend this product.

  • Looks good, boils fast, and is easy to carry and pour. My last electric teakettle had the handle on the side, which is a lot harder to hold and pour than this design.

    I recommend this product.

  • We actually were replacing the same product that we have in our office that is used every day, multiple times a day. The only reason we replaced it was due to the fact the "knob" on the lid had corroded over time (five plus years) and broke off the lid, and I couldn't find replacement parts.

    I recommend this product.

  • We had tried a model with the handle on the side and found it quite uncomfortable ergonomically. This model with its handle on the top is just right for us and we haven't stopped using it since it arrived.

    I recommend this product.

  • A must have for anyone who boils water. The waiting time for boiling water is quick, the sleek design allows you to leave it on your counter and the convenience of the automatic shut off is terrific.

  • This was a replacement for a WARING that I loved. I was very disappointed when that died. (whatever happened to them?) This was the closest kettle I could find. BUT it is incredibly noisy, drowns out the radio in the kitchen. Also it is not as big and is not as sturdy feeling as I would have hoped. But as a tea drinker it does boil quickly

    I recommend this product.

  • Before purchasing we used old perculators without the coffee basket to heat water for instant coffee and tea.
Selected model based on design and chrome type finish. Disappointed that except for maximum indicator on post inside there are no internal markings to indicate amount of water, useful for reheating. I should have selected one with outside gauge. It is also very loud in the heating mode. Water is heated as advertised and does shut off when boiling. Still a beautiful design!
