Best Single Egg Poacher I've Ever Owned
June 27, 2008
I make a poached egg for myself at least 3 times a week and, over the years have owned at least 4 different single egg poachers. This one is the best by far. It looks and is very well-constructed; not flimsy like all the others. It has a deep egg well with plenty of capacity for even a jumbo sized egg and the non-stick coating releases the egg without a speck left over. It's a little more expensive than others on the market but it feels as if it will last forever.

I love this single egg poacher! I also have the four-cup egg poacher, but it was a drag to have to wash the whole thing when I only needed to cook one egg. Even though the cup is non-stick, I still put butter in it. I break the egg into a measuring cup and then pour it into the poacher -- easier than cracking the egg against the pan, and easy to dispose if the egg turns out to be bad. Use an oven mitt or pot holder -- the cup handle gets hot, and the cover handle gets very hot. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys poached eggs or Eggs Benedict!

Works better than other egg poaching units I have tried. Covenient to use and egg will not stick to the holder if some oil is rubbed on it before use.

cooks an egg and more
February 14, 2009
We bought this to replace an ancient one-egg poacher whose teflon coating had been scratched off years ago.
The new poacher gleams and cleans nicely. It's also handy as a small double boiler, for melting a few tablespoons of butter or a square or two of chocolate.

Why NOT TWO EGGS?
March 22, 2008
I purchased this poacher to replace a very old two egg poacher. This was two eggs in the same cup. It would be a boon to include a double egg cup with this item to make it a superior product. I am using my old double cup which fits in the pan and would like a new one made of coated steel (not aluminum).
If you are interested I can send a dimensions.

Very Satisfied.
May 18, 2008
I'm pleased with the quality of the material of the egg holder and the cooking pot. The handle of the egg holder is not likely to snap off with use. The pot with the lid looks very attractive.

Dandy little poacher!

The only regret I have is that I didn't get one of these sooner! No excuse to not have a perfectly done egg, anytime, for a nice egg-on-English muffin, a classy snack for a drop-in guest. Very well made. Easy cleanup.

One of the best kitchen purchases possible
October 6, 2009
This single egg poacher immediately became my favorite kitchen utensil. The stainless steel is high quality and easy to clean. For anyone who likes one egg poached easily and perfectly every time, this is the answer. I will buy more of these this year as holiday gifts.
