  • MOST HELPFUL REVIEWS

  • We now have six of these gallon jars which we saw on Martha Stewart. They are excellent for flour, sugar, tea, cereal, et c. They are classy, clean and easy to use. They also let you know the amount remaining. We really like them. They work well when it is time to soak green tomato pickles in lime before canning.

    I recommend this product.

  • Doesn't seal air out. Has a nice wide mouth though.

  • This works as a great canister too!

I order two of the glass cookie jars but I use them as canisters for flour and sugar. They are wide enough to get my measuring cups into them to get the flour and sugar out. I am a very satified customer!

    I recommend this product.

  • Same item is available less expensive at Target. Also I thought it would have a freshness seal , it does not.

  • Heavy Duty

I purchased both of the glass 1 gallon cookie jars and although I prefer the other jar with the threaded lid for freshness, I find this jar more heavy duty, and if you have kids you'll find that a very redeemable quality while the extra length of freshness not as necessary as the cookies don't seem to last all that long! :)

    I recommend this product.

  • I use this to brian my meat with. glass does not hold order or taste like plastic does. Also there is only the two of us, so my cuts of most meats are small enough for this size jar and fits in my fridg real good.

    I recommend this product.

I bought three, and they hold bags of pasta, and bags of non-wheat flour. They display beautifully.

  • Cookie Jar

It was a bit smaller than my mind was imagining, but I use it to keep my tea bags in instead. Of course the clear glass allows the teas to show up in the package color as well as locating the tea I want -- looks nice on the counter top...

    I recommend this product.

  • I gave these cookie jars with assorted homemade cookies as Christmas gifts to family members. They loved the beautiful, sturdy, clear glass.(the cookies looked great in them!) They were especially pleased that the cookie jars were made in the USA!

  • These were hard to find, but at last we found them! We use these to store the coffee units for the Flavia machine, and its easy to use with the wide mouth and a lid that is not too heavy. When you have arthritis, these little things count. Most canisters have too narrow an opening. These are nice and big.

    I recommend this product.

  • I use two of these jars in my refrigerator to put food related trash into until garbage day. I can easily see how full the jars are through the clear glass. The easy to lift lid allows me to quickly put trash into the jar and the lid sits securely to keep food trash odors out of the refrigerator.

    I recommend this product.
