The 1-qt bottle is an excellent value compared to the smaller sizes. The quality of this vanilla is outstanding.

The only thing I would mention is to have an insert in the bottle to make pouring easier. I hate to waste the vanilla down the side of the bottle.

A surprise was in store for me

When I received the vanilla extract I was surprised to discover that one of its ingredients is sugar. I usually purchase pure vanilla extract (from a local shop) and its only ingredients are "selected vanilla beans extractives, alcohol (35% pure), water." I did notice a difference in the smell, taste and texture (it seems thinner, if that's possible) of the extracts (yours and my usual one). Your product's flavour is perhaps less "vanilla-y" but its cost is quite a lot better so I think it is worth it. Having free shipping was also a bonus! The flavour is by no means unlikeable. I have not tried your Mexican vanilla extract and am wondering if it also has added sugar. I have had Mexican vanilla in the past and it also had added sugar (or azucar).

I gave this vanilla as a gift to an avid baker. This is my favorite vanilla.

Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla

The vanilla is OK. A little disappointed for the price. It is much better than the vanilla I purchase at Cosco. I may purchase it again but would have a hard time really recommending it as a bargain to my friends.

Size and value

First time I've seen a container this size. Was so tired of buying a 4 oz container for 7 dollars or more and always running out of it when I need it most.

I have used this product for years. It makes a huge difference in baked goods. A great value versus store vanilla.

I love this vanilla. It is a little more expensive than the supermarket brands but the flavor is well worth it. You can taste the difference in your cooking. Nothing like the real thing. No artificial flavors!

If you bake then you know that this brand of vanilla is the best, especially when used in dishes that are not heated to high temperatures. Why not buy it in large quantities at a significant discount? It is the sensible way to purchase an oft used ingredient!

This is the best quality vanilla extract that's on the market. Cooking.com's price is excellent in comparison to the grocery and specialty food stores. I highly recommend this to al of the bakers out there.

Wonderful flavor

I have always bought grocery store pure vanilla extract thinking it was the gold standard. I saw someone on Food Network using this and I had to try it. My husband noticed a different in our baked goods without me telling him that I had used new vanilla-- and he usually doesn't notice anything! The flavor and the scent are amazing.
