Because of the shape of the pot, boil overs are rare.

Great idea in a saucepan!

This saucepan is awesome. It has large holes on one side of the lid & smaller holes on the other, depending on what you are straining. It is well made, but not as well made as the Farberware I have from 30 years ago. It is just a little thinner in thickness and does not appear as sturdy. Still, it is a very nice, small saucepan.

I have had Farberwear since I was first married. This small saucepan is ideal for warming up canned soup. It doesn't take a lot of room to store or in the dishwasher. Unfortunately, I had some an accident with the one in my set and scorched the bottom beyond retrieval. I needed a replacement. The price was right.

easy to wash; cover conveniently has holes in its sides for straining liquids, and the pot has a "lip" on either side for same.
