Use the Farberware Classic Series Straining Saucepan for everything from steaming vegetables to making rich soups. The heavy-gauge stainless-steel construction ensures durability and consistent performance over time, and the full cap aluminum base quickly and efficiently conducts heat from your gas, electric, induction, ceramic or halogen stove to all areas of the pan. The domed lid is designed to let condensation drip back onto the food in the pan as it cooks, and it has a phenolic handle that is easy to grasp when you need to take a quick peek at the progress of your meal. The stick handle extending from the pan stays cool even when your food is boiling, and because the saucepan is oven safe for temperatures up to 350 degrees F, you can switch cooking methods without swapping pans. A convenient pour spout on the side of the saucepan lets you efficiently drain away liquids without using a colander, and the lid can be turned to close off the spout so that steam doesn't escape while you cook. Features:
  • Stainless steel surface holds up well to metal utensils and high temperatures
  • Aluminum encapsulated base delivers consistently even heat to prevent hot spots
  • Pour spout lets you drain or pour liquids without spills and splashes
  • Domed lid keeps moisture in the pot and can be adjusted to allow or prohibit pour spout access
  • Dishwasher safe for quick cleanup
  • Capacity: 1-qt.
  • Cleaning & Care: Dishwasher Safe
  • Material: Stainless Steel
  • Origin: Thailand

  • My Favorite Sauce Pan!

I absolutely love my new Farberware Sauce Pan. I don't know how I ever cooked without it. Nothing sticks and it washes beautifully.

  • I have had Farberwear since I was first married. This small saucepan is ideal for warming up canned soup. It doesn't take a lot of room to store or in the dishwasher. Unfortunately, I had some an accident with the one in my set and scorched the bottom beyond retrieval. I needed a replacement. The price was right.

    I recommend this product.

  • Great idea in a saucepan!

This saucepan is awesome. It has large holes on one side of the lid & smaller holes on the other, depending on what you are straining. It is well made, but not as well made as the Farberware I have from 30 years ago. It is just a little thinner in thickness and does not appear as sturdy. Still, it is a very nice, small saucepan.

    I recommend this product.

  • I wanted to match existing set of cookware. I couldn't tell from the description or picture that this pan did NOT have a clear cover and did not have the same handle weld as my existing Farberware. Still, I like the straining feature.

    I recommend this product.
