    This is a good pan although small. I use it for melting butter mostly. The one I replaced it with was bigger so I think the 1 quart means to the top which would cause it to overflow. I think a little extra room would be nice.

    Perfect for the two of us

    I bought this sauce pan for use in our motor home. While I have not used it yet, it appears to be the perfect size for cooking veggies, soups and sauces. I especially like the see-through lid.

    Size of 1-quart sauce pan

    This pan is really too small for everyday cooking. A 1.5 quart pan would be more useful. Also, instead of its being so shallow, make it a bit deeper.

    I am a hard anodized fan, and love my Calphalon Every Day pan. So when I wanted a new 1 qt saucepan, I decided to try this one. I love it. I agree with others -- it is a little small, however, it is perfect for my purposes. (I actually have 3 1 qt saucepans and they are all different sizes????) I also recommended this for my Mom who needed a replacement.

    Small size is useful for reheating/warming small amounts. Maybe not for everyday use, but handy when you need it. Single servings, warming gravy, etc. Well built, will last a long time.
