I have always wanted a set of Calphalon cookware, but the cost was always a problem. Finally got what I wanted at a price I could afford. Great cookware. Simply love it.

Itty Bitty Saucepan

I bought this saucepan because I thought a one quart pan would hold one quart of liguid during use. It is much smaller. I had already bought a great little nonstick saucepan which has a smaller base, and higher sloped sides which is ideal for a small amount of sauce or just about anything else. So I returned this one. If Calphalon would state the actual dimensions of their saucepans, I wouldn't have had to return it which cost me almost $12 by UPS. Would have kept it, but not enough kitchen space for extra pans about the same size. I am very impressed with the nonstick products. I have been using Silit pans which I bought in Germany. They are very attractive and strong, but usually need a treatment with Bartenders Friend to clean them up. Calphalon clean up is much easier.

I expected it to be larger but the quality is consistent with all the other products

great little pan

I needed a pan to make a single helping of several types of food from oatmeal to cooked vegys. This pan has worked out very well. The first thing I noticed was that I needed a lower setting on the burner to cook the food in the pot. The second thing I noticed was the even cooking of the pot. And last I was pleased with the ease of clean up with just a little soapy water and soft rag. This has proven to be a great little pan that I will be using for a long time to come.

Price

This is an outstanding product but a little on the pricey side. If you could bring your prices down a little I would buy a whole set and more.

Sauce Pan

I have only used Calphalon for more than 20 years. I am replacing my kitchen stovetop and will not buy an induction top so that I can keep using my Calphalon.

... Perfect for cooking for 1 or 2 people

1 qt saucepan--Calphalon

Needed to start replacing my cookware from the old teflon treated pans and fell in love with Calphalon. The simplicity of the pans is just what I needed. Come in convenient sizes for our needs and don't need a whole array of sizes to work with. Recently picked up a 2 qt saucepan and now the 1 qt saucepan. Have the 4 qt kettle and the 7 qt stockpot. That's all I need and am very much satisfied with the Calphalon quality.

I was looking for a non-stick set of cookware and first bought another brand. While these pots worked very well they were much heavier than the Calphalon brand utensils. After purchasing these 2 pots I am able to use them with comfort as they are so much lighter than the others and they cook so evenly it makes cooking a joy.

Great little sauce pan

This is a terrific little pan that you can use for so many little jobs. It is nonstick and made here is the USA.

This pot works great!

I bought this pot for a rice recipe that I have not made yet, but have used it to warm some very sticky praline sauce that would have stuck to a regular pot. This little gem cleans up just fine, and It's a great deal for the money, too. I really like this pot.

I would recommend this saucepan as a must have for small things like making rice or oatmeal for those of us who still make food from scratch. Since it's non-stick it's very easy to clean.
