ordered this as a replacement, I put the hot lid in the sink, the water was turned on and it shattered. Liked the pot so much I ordered a second while ordering the replacement lid.

I received the wrong size lid - it has been returned and I am waiting to get the correct size. I'm sure it will be fine - love all the other Calphalon pieces I have.
