I love it. I have not been without yogurt since I purchased the machine. You would think the machine would come with a packet of starter.

Generally, this is a pretty good yogurt maker. It is easy to clean and easy to use. I would make a couple of major improvements in the instructions and in the thermometer that comes with it.

The instructions are good except they fail to state how long to ferment the yogurt. I had to look this up online. In addition, the unit comes with a thermometer to tell you when it is time to add the starter. But, since there are no numbers marked on the thermometer you do not know when you have gotten the milk hot enough prior to allowing it to cool down. The directions state 185 degrees but, give you no way to measure or judge that temperature. You will need to buy a candy thermometer to do this properly.

Oh, and the recipe that comes with the unit does not make enough yogurt to fill all 8 of the jars. So, you will need to increase the volume by 50% to use all 8 jars.
