I have to say I was reluctant to pay this much for a potato masher, but after reading the other reviews I thought I would give it a try. WOW. What a great buy. This makees the best mashed potatoes I have ever made, and effortlessly. There are NO lumps at all, and none of the potatoes stick to the masher. What an improvement to pulling out the hand mixer and whipping for several minutes only to find that there are still lumps. It also works well on avocados for a smooth guacamole dip. I am very pleased with this purchase!

After reading the all the reviews, I took the plunge and made the investment. All I can say is, it was a great investment. The product really lives up to the 5 star rating it deserves.

This is the greatest potato masher I've ever used! It is almost impossible to have lumpy mashed potatoes. I love it and will tell everyone I know about it.

I bought this product based largely on other reviews that I had read. The price was more than I wanted to spend and I was disappointed that it's no longer made in Germany, but I'm overall satisfied with the product and would definately recommend it.

The mashers of all mashers! I am giving it as a Christmas gift and when I got it and went to go wrap it I was impressed. It has weight to it and looks like it will do a great job. I hope my brother likes it!

Besides the fact that this is a great potato masher, I love the handle! The guard plate at the base gives your hand a place to rest as you mash the potatoes. My old masher did not have a guard, and my hand was not nearly as stable. It is also very easy to clean.

I have used it a couple of times now and it is great. It is strong and easy to use. Mashes the pototoes great. I highly recommend it.
