Loved it, very light and easy to use

Not Slippery, Good Grippery!

Litlle play on words but I really do like the feel of this can opener in my hands; both ends to be exact! I have a rather small hand and this doesn't feel awkward. I also like the tight grip and no slip of the blade wheel as it rounds the can; not like others that gap, making me have to go around more than once - and leaves those jagged edges. Easy on the hands

After getting a new electric can opener that wouldn't easily puncture the can I switched to this hand held opener. Soft handled is correct. It easily pierces the can, turns with ease and doesn't hurt or require effort. I like OXO products but this one is terrific.

Ease of use

I have a problem with my hands so this items ease of use makes it so much nicer for me

I have Arthritis in my hands and find this the easiest hand-held can opener to use.

The soft handles are easy to grip with little pain. The cutting blade bites into the metal quickly and firmly, removing the lid completely with simple movements.

This can opener is a pleasure to use. With ones I had before, the most difficult part was pressing down until the blade broke through the can. Then you could turn the knob and open the can. This one is a dream. Makes the initial cut with absolutely no problem--which is great for me because I have arthritis. This is the best can opener of this type that I have used. Recommed it to anyone. Great performance for a good price!

Easy to use, easy to hold

This can opener is easy to use and easy to hold. It opens cans with ease and would even be easy for someone with arthritis or other hand ailment since it requires very little pressure to get the opener to grasp the can and very little pressure to twist the knob and move the opener around the can. Nice product.

Great Can Opener

I originally had a zyliss can opener. I decided to give this Oxo Can Opener a try, and I'm glad I did. Easy to operate, went around a can very smoothly and quickly. My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner.

I have tried many electric Can-Openers and could nit make an work consistently. After many tries I purchased the above referenced Hand Operated Can-Opener. It works every time and is very easy to use. Why I spent so much on electric Can-Openers I'll never know
