We got this grill pan last week, and absolutely love it so far. I did steaks on it at first (very pleased), and my husband used it to cook sausage last night. So good that we have this now...when we cant use the grill because of weather, we have this

Always wanted a grill pan with "stripes" - want to use it with zucchini to get the great grill marks. Looking forward to using it at our next steak supper.

i bought this grill pan to simulate outdoor cooking when the weather says otherwise......the pan sears the food well.....however, when one uses high heat, the grill pan sticks although supposedly pre-seasoned.....therefore, season it again before using.

Cast iron prices vary so radically, but this is my second cast iron purchase from Lodge, and I really could not be happier. I've been wanting a grill pan for quite a while and finally took the plunge. Made grilled shrimp last week with this pan, and they were amazing. Perfect grill marks, and cooked up in a snap! Pan arrived in beautiful shape, ready to use. Good, solid, heavy quality. Big enough for about two fillets of fish, or two servings--this is not a huge pan, but it's a great size for everyday cooking. (I also have the two-burner reversible Lodge skillet, and recommend that too for larger batches.) Look forward to using this for years--and then giving it to my grandkids! Just really great quality, American-made to boot.
