Pump Action Salad Spinner

First of all it took me awhile to figure out how to unlock the lid. After putting my lettuce in and spining a few times, water was still on the lettuce.I have one that I use at Church and the handle turns,and the lettuce is almost dry when it finishes. I really like that one. I thinking about giving the one I bought form this company and getting the other.I can turn better that I can pump.

Great product at a reasonable price.

Easy to operate. I like the pumping action better than the crank types because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and can tolerate the pumping action better with my sore wrists.

I've had a spinner with a string crank for years. This is so much better! The spinning mechanism dips down into the bowl several inches, so the bowl can't be filled more than half way. Buts it's so quick, doing multiple rounds is not an issue.

Wow what a Spinner!! We use this item everyday! makes our salads so much better & easy to make! Love how as it spins you can see the water that comes off your lettuce!! Also because it comes with a regular lid you can store this in your frig filled with salad to just spin & grab out of the frig at your convience! Its also a very good spinner for making homeaid french fries to take the water off them!

Why did I wait to order this salad spinner after all these years?

This is the first salad spinner I've ever had in my life, and I'm happy that I purchased this one. It's a nice size, and the pump is comfortable on your palm, and has good spin speed. The lettuce comes out dry. The best way to use this product is to first soak the lettuce for about 5 minutes in the strainer. Then lift the strainer and pour out the dirty water. Rinse a little more, if needed, then spin it dry by using the pump. The salad spinner also comes with a lid, so if you want to save the rest of the lettuce for later, simply pop on the lid and put it all in the refrigerator. Oxo products are great, and this salad spinner is no exception.

I've owned several cheap salad spinners over the years that have never lasted or worked very well. I decided to try spending a little extra this time, and was it ever worth it! This spinner is very durable and sturdy, and I was amazed at the amount of water that it spun out of my lettuce! Fantastic, you won't be disappointed with this purchase.

I had purchased this salad spinner for myself from you all a couple of years ago and everytime I have guest and use it they admire it so much. My sister-in-law was visiting several weeks ago and I was using it and she just raved and raved over it so I thought it would be a perfect gift for her as a Christmas gift, so I bought it for her. I put all of the veggies I am going to put in my salad in the spinner after I wash them along with the lettuce and they get nice and dry.

If you love salads but think they only taste good ordered out, you need one of these. They keep the greens crisp and fresh for days. The bowl has a large capacity. I purchased this one as a gift because I love mine so much.
