Coffee connoisseurs will find a lot to love about the Jura-Capresso 10-c. CoffeeTEAM GS Coffee Maker and Grinder Combo. This machine does it all -- it grinds your favorite coffee beans to your exact specifications, and then it brews your coffee and has it ready just when you want it. This machine is the first coffeemaker and grinder combo to hit the market with direct-feed technology and a conical burr grinder, and it is designed to eliminate the hassle of grinding your beans separately before starting a traditional machine. To use this innovative machine, just pour in your beans, program how long you want to grind the beans and to what consistency, and then the machine will do just that before it brews a fresh pot just for you. It comes with a large-capacity 10-cup glass carafe, so you can make coffee for a crowd, and it is equipped with a charcoal water filter and gold-tone filter so that the first cup is just as good as the last. It also has a two-hour safety shutoff valve, so you will always know your machine is powered off, and offers you the ability to stop the drip process at any time, making it easy to fill your cup before the process is finished.
First-ever combination machine that features a conical burr grinder with direct feed technology, so you are on the cutting edge with every cup you make
Machine is easy to use -- just pour your beans in, hit a few buttons and let it go to work

Equipped with a 10-cup glass carafe so you can make coffee for the entire family
For some reason I've been hesitant to purchase this brand of product, but ZOMG was I ever wrong! Not only is this machine a breeze to program and clean, it makes the best coffee I've ever had from a home brewer, period ... the end! I'm a bit of a coffee snob and I've tried every major brand from Bunn to you-name-it. I typically buy a new machine 2 or 3 times per year, in search of that perfect cup. Well my search is over. The setting selections on this machine are REAL. If you set it to a light brew, you get a light brew. If you set it to a dark brew, you get a dark brew. I've never seen a machine that you can truly see a difference in the end product by changing the settings. I've had no issue with the grinder or delivery chute clogging and I live in a very humid island climate. I send my thanks to others who reviewed this product ahead of me, because you are the ones who convinced me to buy it. For those of you searching for that perfect home grinder/brewer, this is it!!! Buy one and be happy.
I wanted a well-built coffee maker that's easy to program, well-built, and makes great coffee from whole beans. This model fulfills all of those characteristics, while offering excellent flexibility in grind size, coffee strength, and quantity. The parts are nicely engineered and assembled and feel rugged.
The grinder is quieter than many comparable burr grind and brew machines and probably quieter than every blade grind and brew machine available. Unlink many other models, this one doesn't make a mess, nor is it difficult to clean the insides.
The only thing I'd improve is the water filter mechanism. Sometimes adding water to the tank causes the charcoal filter to float out of it's holder at the bottom of the tank. A heavier carrier for the filter or a tighter fit would likely solve the problem.
Like other reviewers, I bought this to replace a Cuisinart Grind and Brew that began to leak mysteriously after about 18 months of use (spread over 3 years because that is a second home). That is a much less expensive machine, especially when it is on sale. And we were happy with it until the leak problem developed. Internet searches revealed that this leaking problem with the Cuisinart is common. In our primary residence, we have had an earlier model of the Capresso machine for many years, So, I decided to go with the much more expensive Capresso this time -- as likely to be less expensive in the long run. However, I was surprised at how big it is -- seems to take more space than the older one and at how much coffee it uses with the default settings -- much more than the older machine. Presumably we can adjust it to use less coffee but we have not gotten around to that. Other issues -- instructions tell you to unplug it when not in use, but if you do that, you will have to reset the clock before being able to make coffee -- one of the most irritating features of many current appliances. With the metal filter, more gunk than we like makes it into the coffee, so we have taken to putting paper filters inside the metal ones.
I've tried all the home grinder/brewer combinations in this category and this one is the best by a wide margin. Cuisinart is cr*p, noisy and requires constant maintenance. The Jura-Capresso is exceptionally quiet when grinding, brews a quick pot and keeps it hot. I have tried the thermal carafe versions, I don't like them primarily because you have to preheat the carafe with hot water and the coffee just isn't hot enough. This one keeps it hot and if you dispose of the grounds immediately after brewing, you don't get that bitter oil taste in your coffee. This is actually my second CoffeeTEAM GS. The first one's grinder finally died after a year and a half of trouble-free daily use.
I never write reveiws but felt I needed to this time. Nothing against Cooking.com they have been great. The first coffee maker I got would brew coffee but not grind beans. The second one was so noisy, not grinding the beans, but brewing the coffee and the amount of venting was not working for my new cupboards. I purchased a different brand for alot less money and am happy with it. Again I had great customer service from Cooking.com the product did not meet my stardards.
Very pleased with this coffee maker/grinder. The coffee smells great from the first moment it starts brewing. I bought some french roast and have been enjoying it nearly every day! I do think that the price is a little high but: it's easy to set up and operate, I don't have to buy filters, and the coffee is really, really good!
The 10-c. CoffeeTEAM GS Coffee Maker and Grinder Combo by Jura-Capresso is by far the best Coffe Maker and Grinder combo on the market. I purchased the GS to replace my 11 year old Capress Coffe Maker and grinder. The GS has most of the same features as the older model except it has been refined to for any upscale kitchen and the coffee seems much hotter than the older model making for a better cup of coffee. It is easy to clean and operate. If it was a 12 cup pot it would be the ultimate Coffee Maker and Grinder Combo available and a very good price..
