Excellent Machine, I love it.
I was looking for a coffee machine that would also grind the coffee beans as I do not like to have grind coffee in storage.
At first reluctantly, because of the price, I bought the very expensive Fully Automatic Burr Grind & Brew Thermal Coffeemaker by Cuisinart. I was SOOO disappointed! it was a hassle just to make the coffee, it never came out right, the filter would get stuck, etc etc.
Then I returned it and called Customer Service, and I was looking at the Jura-Capresso, they highly recommended it, I ordered it and I am IN LOVE with it. Every time I make coffee for someone they always tell me the coffee is so delicious.
I bought this machine to make coffee for my mom, and she adores it.
So Do not even worry with the Cuisinart products, go with this brand, it is a SURE thing.
Good Luck
I read reviews on several sites and after debating the pros and cons, decided to give it a try. I was looking for a better cup of coffee, easy to use and maintain machine, and consistently reliable. This CoffeeTEAM TS coffee maker deliveried in all aspects. Best cup of morning coffee ever. No steaming problem, noise of grinder isn't loud, temperature of coffee is right, brew type comes out perfect as programed, easy to maintain, last drop in the pot not a problem; so the cons I read about were mostly just over picky. I highly recommend this machine if you want a better cup of coffee. Okay it is true, you do get a new kitchen night light.

I finally retired that coffee pot after 12 years of service. Actually, it is still working but I wanted a style that was up to date. I certainly got it and a good performing coffee pot with this new machine.

But, it was hard to clean and the pot had to be tipped upside down to empty which was messy. The pot was difficult to clean and the wet ground beans got everywhere. Because I like having a grinder combo I chose the Jura-Capresso. It is great. The wet beans don't spray all over the machine. The parts are easier to clean. The coffee taste can be controlled by strength and grind. I recommend it.

I am appalled at the terrible design "upgrades" in this unit. 1. the fact that you have to stick your head virtually inside the water tank to see how much you've poured in is INSANE. If you keep the pot under a cabinet (hello - isn't that what most people do??) you hvae to constantly move it out from under the cabinet to see what the water level is.
2. Concealing the filter and grinder parts within the "box" of the machine is a good idea, but the resulting hulk of a black box sitting on the counter is very off-putting.
3. The clock display is so huge and bright that it virtually lights up a dark room. I now have THREE stupid digital clocks on one wall of my very small kitchen, and this is by far the most obnoxious.
That all said, it still makes a tasty cup of coffee.
This coffee maker replaced our Cuisinart stainless steel coffee maker (broke after 7 years of great service) and our coffee grinder. We wanted an all-in-one to save on counter space. This machine is great for that!
It brews an excellent cup of coffee and we like that you can select different brew strengths. It is very easy to use after a brief review of the manual.
My only two minor complaints with it are that you cannot measure the water level from the outside (have to look inside which can be dark) and its get the last few drops of coffee out of the stainless steel carafe without taking the top off and turning it at different angles. Otherwise, we are very happy with this purchase.
Love the taste of the coffee and the ease of use once you get it set so it does not use a ton of beans. There should be a setting to control the bean amount per pot, the closest we have found is to set the cup setting to 6 which is still a bit much but 4 cup setting is not enough. The pot keeps the coffee nice and hot for along time, but you have to about tip it the pot upside down to get the last of the coffee out and it is a bit on the heavy side. I would also opt for a larger bean compartment. (only holds enough for aprox 3 pots)

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee hits me each morning.
A bit pricy, but what isn't! Beats the Cuisanart I used to have.
The product works fine. Easy to use, good tasting coffee. Very smooth flavor.

We loved our old one but after five years of heavy use it no longer performs at peak level. The new one works well but it much noiser and uses substantially more beans to make a pot of coffee. The grinder's settings never really make the coffee as fine as the old one did, and frequently there are dry grounds in the basket after the brewing has ended. It would appear that the older version with the conical filter was much more efficient and cost-saving, using less coffee beans, grinding finer and brewing more efficiently. Had our old model (the Capresso CoffeeTEAM Therm) been available, we would have ordered it. Since that was not possible, we have this one, and will make the best of it for the time being. It makes good coffee, but will be more expensive to use because it requires more coffee beans per pot of coffee brewed.
