Product description of 10in is misleading

The pan is advertised as a 10 inch pan, however, this is not exactly true. The top rim around the pan is 10 inches but the actual cooking space inside is 8 inches. I would have preferred a 12 inch but was willing to settle for 10 inches due to the sale price. Was disappointed upon opening it up to discover it's really an 8 inch pan with a 10 inch circumference at the top after the edges flue outwards. It performs wonderfully but would've liked a bigger pan. If I'd seen this pan in a store I wouldn't have bought it due to it's small cooking surface. It would cost more to send it back than it's worth so I'm keeping it but again, for what it is, it does perform great.

Excellent pan, I use it all the time. The only negative is that the handles get a little warm sometimes.

Good Product for the Price

I like everything about the pan except that the handles get HOT after use. It makes it difficult to empty the pan onto a plate. It washes easily, and I like the non-stick feature.

Perfect for a single gal!

My roommates had a similar pan and when I moved out, I wondered what I would do without one. I LOVE this pan. It's just the right size for a few breasts of chicken, making meat sauce, or a small stir fry. It's a good weight, made well, and I love the 2 space-saving handles on either side. It takes up less room on the range, on the table, and in my cabinet.

The most amazing thing is that I don't have to use any oil to cook with whatsoever. Clean up is a snap, even after browning meat.

Hot Handles

I am very disappointed in this pan, the handles get very hot.
I bought two for gifts and am sending them back.

I have had several non-stick skillets but this one is very nice! I was concerned about the handles as I have always cooked with one long handle instead of 2 on each side, but I like it. I was able to brown boneless pork chops in it and then put it directly in the oven with tomatoes, onions and green peppers for a great meal. It browns evenly and cleans up very easy. Nice size and weight.

I feel like I made a good buy in this everyday pan. I have only used it once and it was a pleasure cooking in it.

I look forward to using it again and again. I think I will get my money's worth out of it.

Nonstick Every Day Pan

I love being able to see through the lid of this pan to see what I am cooking.

Nice Pan

I like the Calphalon brand and would have kept this pan however, it was a bit too small for what I needed. I also didn't like the double handles, but that's more of a preference thing with me and not a defect of the product.

Good Choice

When I first received this pan I was disappointed as I thought it would be bigger. However, while I can't use it for most meats I began to use it for anyting I needed to saute. Now I use it all the time. It works great for veggies and sauting onions and peppers. It also workes well for ground meats.While I really like the handles because you don't have one sticking out you need to be careful because they will get hot.

this pan is the best pan i have ever used. This pan is easy to clean, cooks evenly, goes from stove to oven. you can cook almost anything in this pan. Everyday pan is right. I use it every day.

Perfect!

I got this pan because the handle on my favorite pan busted. It's fabulous! The non-stick coating is heavy and so smooth, and the pan itself is heavy, and the heat seems to distribute very evenly. I wish I had a whole set of this!

This pan is a workhorse in the kitchen. I have had one for years, and have never been disappointed.

Best Little Everyday Pan

Couldn't be more pleased with this product. We use it for eggs, Indian dishes, goulash, you name it. Cleanup is a breeze and it is really handy to not have one long handle and a short handle...as I am left-handed and my husband is right. But it doesn't matter with a pan like this.

These pans are amazing. I have the larger on as well and I use them almost everyday for all my cooking. The surface and shape of these pans are perfect. Nonstick, even heating and easy clean-up. Highly recommended, you will love them too!
