Bring back more Hard Anodized - - -

    by P{aul, WA
    August 15, 2011

    - - - less non-stick - yuk. Everyone has non-stick. I grant that Calphalon needs non-stick in its lineup but it's been difficult to find the Hard Anodized pan I was looking for (10") to compliment my 8" omelet pan which is at least 10 years old. Yes, HA requires more care, but if used correctly it can give years of non-stick service. This particular 10" pan should have a wide, flat steel handle like the older ones. Slide on a handle cover and it works great but on the 10" the handle is too narrow for pan control. Never-the-less, I'm glad to have it. Hope to get years of use out of it. Make more!

    Food Sticks Real Bad

    by Kathy, CA
    February 1, 2012

I had one of these original pans years ago and loved it until food started sticking after many years of use. So, I tossed it and went to non-stick. But, non-stick wears out. I was excited to see this pan available again because I like the gently sloped sides of the pan better than the steep sides that I see on other pans. Unfortunately, the finish on the pan hasn't changed and food still sticks badly...even food high in fat (like bacon) stick to the pan. I've used the pan about 8-10 times now and I am very disappointed. Even my husband has complained about how food sticks. All my cookware is Calphalon so they make great products...just not this pan.

    Don't non-stick

    by Georgia, FL
    September 9, 2011

Is that even good English? Maybe not, but what can I say about how great it is to have seasoned anodized aluminum pans without the non-stick coating in the kitchen? Use and clean much like an iron skillet without some of the negatives (like rusting and weight). Love it. Keep a thin coat of oil on it and cleans like a breeze. Multi-purpose size that every kitchen should have.

    Not a non-stick

    by Greg, OK
    January 25, 2012

My error in ordering this pan. Assumed it was a non stick like several other calphalon skillets we use every day. Discovered this in our first attempt to use.
The vegetables stuck severely, even with cooking oil being used. Was not what we expected.

    mistake

I thought this pan would be non stick but was
disappointed when cooking scambled eggs , they
stick, never was a fan of Calphalon so I should have
    known better.

    Not Truly Nonstick

    by Marian, NC
    September 4, 2011

This pan is hard to clean and does not cook anything well unless you use butter and/or oil. I find that my stainless steel does just as well.

Considered returning, but with return shipping, it's hardly worth it.

    September 4, 2011

I find that scrambled eggs are hard to clean off this pan. Was hoping it would be more stick resistant

I purchased this pan as a replacement and am very happy with it. It heats quickly and evenly, cleans up well and I really like the new stay-cool handles.

    Basic Calphalon Pan

    by Morten, TX
    October 9, 2011

This product line is simple, low cost, and very nice compared to all the other lines with non-stick surface. The fact that you can use metal utelsils on this one makes all the difference. The finish isn't a detailed as their older, and much more expensive line - but cooking wise, this is perfect.

Am still in the "learning stage" when it comes to judging how much heat is necessary. But so far so good. I dislike that it can't be put in the dishwasher and has to be hand washed after each use. But I knew that before I bought it and am counting it as "worth it" because of the quality of the pan, which is very good.

Nice Pan but received it with scratches.

    by Ann, NY
    February 7, 2012

I've been using Calphalon for quite a few years. My other pots and pans have held up to many years of cooking by different people. I bought this pan but when I opened the package there was three deep scratches. Does this affect the pan and cooking with it? Probably not but, I do not like paying for something that is new with blemishes.

    Old fashioned Quality

    by Peter, CT
    February 24, 2012

Have fond memories of the "original" Calphalon cookware, and wanted to try it again. After some research, found that it was still available, but appeared that only the omelette pans were "the real thing" (could the rest of the line be made to "value standards" off-shore?). Anyway, tried the pan, and it's just as I remembered it. Not completely non-stick, but a great pan for eggs or a grilled cheese.

I have been using your products for a number of years and have remained totally satisfied with all of them. Simply, that is why I keep purchasing them. I have not found all the ones that I wanted over the years and I am a little sad about that but I own a very complete working set of kitchen necessities manufactured by Calphalon. To put things into perspective for you, my other choice would have been All-clad. You make a good product. Keep up the good work and I will continue to purchase Calphalon.

    Great pan

    by Sarah, CA
    March 6, 2012

I've been looking for pans that don't have non-stick coatings that are reasonably priced. I feel safer using it at high temps. So far, it's been a great pan.

    The return of the best

    by Trudy, OR
    April 9, 2012

I have had my classic Commercial Hard Anodized cookware for years, but I did not have a 10 inch fry pan and I really wanted one. I was thrilled to see it at such a great price! Using this fry pan is already a pleasure and it will be used as much as my 12 inch fry pan and my 5 quart saute. Next on the list is the 7 quart dutch oven!

    Great Product and Service

    by William, AZ
    April 11, 2012

We have several or your items in our kitchen. We were missing a 10 in skillet and found the one we ordered on sale. It was just what we were looking for. Almost same day shipping service, too. What more could you want?

    Use of Calphalon

    by Marilyn, AZ
    April 24, 2012

I ordered the 10" Omelette Pan because of my past positive experience with the Calphalon products. I previously owned and operated a kitchen-gourmet shop. I carried Calphalon when it first came out. It was also used in my demonstration kitchen for cooking classes. In addition, I gave a complete set to my son as a wedding gift. Do I like Calphalon...an emphatic YES! I also like the new stay-cool handles opposed to the rubber handles we used to put on.
