Cover doesn't fit Wok

I was disappointed that the lid did NOT fit the 10 inch Commercial Stir-Fry Wok pan also made by Calphalon!

Bummer!

The original lid that came with the stainless steel pot broke on my tile floor, shattering into many small pieces which landed everywhere. This must have been a safety glass lid as I was barefoot at the time and able to vacuum up all of the little pieces. Now, I will be more careful in placing the lid on the counter.

I made the mistake of ordering the wrong size so I have not been able to use this lid. However, it does look like a quality product that I would enjoy using frequently, if I had ordered the right size!

The handle on the lid

The only negative thing I can possibly say about this product is that the handle gets very hot when cooking, if I had known this ealier I would have ordered a different lid that fit the pan. The lid is definately worth the value for the price.

Fits well to pan-lid handle gets hot

I purchased this 10" glass lid for my 10" Contemporary omelette pan and Tri-Ply omelette pan and also for my 10" Tri-Ply wok. It is very well made and attractive. I have already used it a couple of times, and it is perfect for my needs. It fits very well on all of these pans.

Glass Lid

The cover is not a duplicate for the one I broke. Perhaps it is meant to be a one size fits all for various pots similar to the one I have. As such, it isn't a perfect fit. It will suffice, but I thought I'd let you know.

Often, cooks have a favorite pan which is not part of a set, or has no cover. So called 'universal lids' are flat,
and do not seal well. These domed lids solved my problem for these two reasons. They are easy to clean in spite of a small kitchen sink. Glass lids enable one to view inside of pan without losing heat or steam by raising the lid. I just love them. Now, help me find a place to store them.

Top quality

I bought both the as" and the 10 " to go with the matching skillet set but also to fit the 12 and 10 inch saute pans in the 10 piece Tramontina cookware set .

It was a great price. In a size that you do not find every day. It fit the 10-in frying pan great.

Doesn't fit like the original

I love my Calphalon pans. My original lid was left on a burner which was turned on high and it shattered the lid. I ordered this as a replacement but it does not fit well on the pan, very disappointed.

Replacement Glass Lid

I broke my glass lid for my Calphalon steamer. I was able to order a new one which Calphalon sent well packaged and it fit perfectly. I am happy.
