The 10" knife is plenty long to get across any size loaf of bread. The serated edge cuts gracefully through crusty bread without squashing the soft center. Of course, the Wusthof quality shows through.

This knife was lower quality than I had anticipated. I realize there are different levels of quality to this brand and it is just my fault for not understanding this was one of the lower quality ones prior to purchase.

I love it!

I didn't think I needed another bread knife, but it came so highly recommended as I was looking for a new set of knives that I bought it, and it is one of my very favorites. It is sturdy and sharp and doesn't make a mess of fresh bread, just slices cleanly through it.

This was a present for my brother, so I haven't used the knife myself. However, I was impressed by its heft and solid construction. It is not a flimsy knife!

I bought this as a gift for my husband for his birthday. It appears to be of excellent quality. He hasn't used it yet since his birthday is not until later this week.
