Wusthof Beef slicer

I have a whole set of the Wusthof knives now and use them all the time.
They are the best knives made. This slicer doesn't disappoint either.

This is the best knife I ever used to slice large pieces of beef. The knive feels a little thin but if you let the knive do the work you can turn out slicer quality pieces.

Good value

I own a set of Wusthof Grand Prix knives and love them. I wondered about the quality of the Gourmet line - I should have known that Wusthof's quality would extend throughout their products. This knife is nicely weighted and well balanced. Very comfortable in the hand and easy to use. You can of course spend more, but for the price, I don't think you can beat this knife.

Nicely balanced knife for serious meat carving. It needed some time on a sharpener after arrival to get the edge needed for nice clean slices, but that is a minor issue. I cut up 7 prime ribs one evening in about an hour the first night I used this knife. It should get plenty more use and the Wusthof name stands for good quality steel.

I really needed a good slicer so I decided to pick this one up. Wusthof makes great knives and this one is no exception. I am very happy with it. My only regret is that I wish it was a couple of inches longer but that is a minor complaint.

I've wanted a good slicer for some years and couldn't resist this one's under-$70 price. It cuts like a dream...what a wonderful knife! Lucky me!!

Smooth slicing. You can slice the meat real thin.

Perfect slicer for roast beef.

This is the slicer to have. Carvers are ok for poultry - but if you want a real slicer that you can use for anything, this is the one. The hollow edge keeps the meat from sticking to the knife. The 10 inch blade is perfect for a london broil or a prime rib. I would have liked to have

My husband said this was the carving knife he's always been looking for. Just let the knife do the work, and it does a beautiful job. You may need the 12 in, knife for larger cuts of meat, but the 10 in. is perfect for cuts that you will serve the majority of the time.

Hollow Edge Roast Beef Slicer

This knife cuts through raw beef as if it were a hot knife cutting through butter. It makes the job so much easier. I can cut any width of slice. It is a great addition to my kitchen.

This is a really great knife. I've used it primarily to cut thin slices of beef, ham and chicken breast for sandwiches and it does a fine job.

I felt the price was too high but the quality is very good. Ilove the way it can be used.

Great slicing knife

Purchased the Slicer primarily for cutting smoked prime ribs, etc. but used it over Thanksgiving for carving a turkey. A little long for that purpose but sharp and sliced very well and was able to cut the meat into thin slices.

An excellent purchase

Well worth the money and in respect of its quality, very good value. The knife slices through any joint beautifully and is a joy to use. It is a good weight but not so heavy that a lady cannot use it with ease.

I have been looking for a reasonably prices slicing knife and this one fits the bill for quality and price.

I love the knife. Actually the knife set I have, I've had for years, so to get a knife that actually cuts easily has been a godsend. I wish I could afford lots of them.
