Worth the price
Before I invested in a pan that I didn't pick up a thrift store, I did a lot of reading. If you treat this pan well it should last you a very long time. Use only a soft sponge to clean it and only clean it after the pan has cool completely. Never put it in the dishwasher. Never use metal utensils. I prefer silicon turners to the hard flaking plastic ones. It's true you don't need oil to cook most things. I have found that my over easy eggs stick a bit if I don't use a little oil though. The pan is very solid and nice and heavy. It's got a thick handle that gets warm but not blazing hot.
