Love my poacher !

Just received my egg poacher and it is just as I remembered as a young girl! Quick perfectly cooked eggs. This poacher is stainless steel-no chemicals leaking into my eggs from a non-stick variety. It holds five eggs-which is perfect for my family-and cleans up quickly. Thanks for a wonderful pan!

Egg Poacher Review by Rawn

by Rawland, CA

I really like this egg poacher, and it is well designed. The inserts can be removed and cleaned easily and the poacher cups are also easy to clean. The pan it comes in is 10 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches deep. The handle is easy to grasp and is not rivited to the main pan, but appears to be very sturdy. The lid is a 10 inch diameter glass with a metal sealer ring and a round top handle that is easy to grip. The pan and lid, without the inserts, can be used for cooking other dishes and is also easy to clean.
When poaching eggs you have to use butter or spray in the cups, so the eggs will release easily.
I found it was easy to over cook the eggs unless you test it to find out how you like your eggs and time it. They cook very rapidy in this poacher.
My poacher is a the 5 cup model and there is a smaller 4 cup model. I would recommend it to
anyone as it is great for a family or individual. You can fill only the number of cups with eggs that you are going to use at the time. Also the price for the Egg Poacher was very good for the quality of the item. Only one caution is that when the eggs
are done and you remove the glass lid, the steam is very hot. Removing the egg cups also allows the steam from the bottom to escape. So you must protect you hand and arm if you are prone to being burned by sudden steam escaping. Leave all the egg cup in the poacher even if they are empty. Otherwise is is a good buy for any one.
