The cake you grew up with now has a pan for baking it. This pineapple upside down pan is decoratively molded to fit standard-sized pineapple slices and cherries. The dark aluminum material provides even heat conduction; the heavy walls allow batter to rise evenly and cook more uniformly, giving your cake a golden crust. It's nonstick so cleanup is quick. Although the idea is great and the product is exceptional, the imprints for the pineapple slices are too small for a canned pineapple slice to fit in them!

I have made Pine Apple Upside down cakes for years, both in the Military where I made hundreds of servings at one time and for my personal use. This pan is tha Mercedes of baking pans.The begest concern when bakng an upside down cake is that it will stick to the pan when you turn it over. Whith this pan that problem has been aliminated. The cakes comes out perfect everytime and the body of the pan is deep enough to get a good solid cake so to equalize the cake to topping ratio. You know so the cake wont be soggy. All in all I give the product an excellent rating. I have already recommended it to friends and they are ordering one.

I bought this pan for myself and a friend. Mr neighbor saw it and like it so well that I gave it to him for Christmas and ordered another for my friend. When the one I ordered for my friend came it was bent. I called and told customer service that the pan was terribly bent, she immediately said they would ship another and that I would get it by Dec. 29th, in time to give it to my friend when she arrived. It arrived on time and was a great surprise gift for my friend. She and I had been looking for this pan at all the cooking stores when we had been shopping. Thanks we finally got the pan we had been looking everywhere for. Customer service is the greatest and so very helpful. Thanks again

This pan does not compare to the quality of the Bunt pans made by the same company. It is thin and the cake stuck even though I had sprayed it well. I would not recommend it. I will continue to use my good old heavy iron fry pan to bake my Upside Down Cakes in.
