This pan is wonderful. A little picky about warming things up before using it and melting a little butter in it to check the temperature, but it cooks beautifully and nothing sticks without the plastic coating. I have a lot of teflon coated frypans, and some old stainless ones that definitely are not non-stick, but this pan fits into a niche and, although I haven't done so, can be put into the dishwasher.

Getting Use to Stainless Steel

I've seen quite a few tv chefs using stainless steel skillets, so I wanted to see the difference. I'm use to cooking with cast iron and non stick skillets, so this skillet will take some getting use to. It heats really fast and evenly. It's seems to be a good quality skillet for the price.

Very Good Product

I'm very happy using this pan by Calphalon.

It browns well and sticking hasn't been a big issue. Either has cleaning. I do not own a dishwasher, so I have no idea about how well it cleans using a dishwasher.

I like using a pan that doesn't have teflon coating.

It's very well made, but also light.

It heats up well and quickly. I would not hesitate ordering more of these pans.
