Not what was pictured
The item pictured was for a very uniformly-thin Duralex stacking bowl set like the one I have from the 70s. I purchased from Cook.com because they were the only one who had the set I wanted. What I received was the one I was trying to avoid from other companies -- it is still Duralex but has a thicker rim (about 1" wide) around the top. The company first denied my claim, but after my phone call they confirmed and were willing to take it back. To an unknowing first-time purchaser it would be an insignificant difference. So far I have it (still in packaging) because I cannot find what I want to purchase. Duralex is a great product but cook.com should update the picture to show what they are actually sending.
I see from reading another review on this site that I was not the only person with this complaint.
Product/highest quality/but I am disappointed
The product that I received was not the product I thought I was getting. I had 2 sets of Duralex - 10 pc. bowls that I bought a long long time ago. Needless to say over the years bowls got broken, borrowed and not returned so I was left with just about 7 bowls. When I saw Duralex, 10 pc. bowl set for sale - I was really happy. But the new Duralex bowls are not quite the same as the bowls I had. The old bowls were thinner and lighter and looked more like serving bowls than the new bowls. The newer version look more like mixing bowls. I'm a little disappointed.

I was surprised when I got them as to how small the bowls were. Expected them to be larger. The smallest holds about two tablespoons and the largest is small for a mixing bowl. They are very nice, just small
