    Nesting Bowl set

    by Gloria, WA
    June 15, 2013

This bowl set is totally awesome ! Any size, you name it and it has it. Good quality too. Not so large that it has a problem to fit into my small kitchen. I am sure I will use it happily for years to come. And now my Sister wants a set too !

    Best mixing bowls

    by Randall, WA
    December 29, 2012

I was given a similar set of these 20 years ago, and over the years, 3 of them broke, so I asked for a new set for Christmas. These bowls are high quality, with a good heft and they nest well, taking up only the space of the biggest bowl in my cupboard. Another reviewer complained about the rim around the bowl, but that's very handy, especially when you're holding the bowl with one hand while scraping out the contents with your other hand. The bowls look great and last a long time as well. And yes, I do use all ten sizes!

Very happy with the purchase. My only addition would be lids.

    Was surprised by the size

    by Kathie, OH

I was surprised when I got them as to how small the bowls were. Expected them to be larger. The smallest holds about two tablespoons and the largest is small for a mixing bowl. They are very nice, just small

    Not what was pictured

    by Judy, IL
    June 20, 2010

The item pictured was for a very uniformly-thin Duralex stacking bowl set like the one I have from the 70s. I purchased from Cook.com because they were the only one who had the set I wanted. What I received was the one I was trying to avoid from other companies -- it is still Duralex but has a thicker rim (about 1" wide) around the top. The company first denied my claim, but after my phone call they confirmed and were willing to take it back. To an unknowing first-time purchaser it would be an insignificant difference. So far I have it (still in packaging) because I cannot find what I want to purchase. Duralex is a great product but cook.com should update the picture to show what they are actually sending.

I see from reading another review on this site that I was not the only person with this complaint.

    Product/highest quality/but I am disappointed

    by Adele, PA
    May 26, 2010

The product that I received was not the product I thought I was getting. I had 2 sets of Duralex - 10 pc. bowls that I bought a long long time ago. Needless to say over the years bowls got broken, borrowed and not returned so I was left with just about 7 bowls. When I saw Duralex, 10 pc. bowl set for sale - I was really happy. But the new Duralex bowls are not quite the same as the bowls I had. The old bowls were thinner and lighter and looked more like serving bowls than the new bowls. The newer version look more like mixing bowls. I'm a little disappointed.
