Great bowl set

As a someone that likes to bake - it is critical to have the right size glass bowl for your recipe and this set has almost everything you need. I felt like the largest bowl was smaller than I expected because the sides are low. Overall great value though and essential for home bakers.

Bowls are not deep enough to use a mixer, yet they are called mixing bowls. There is not enough info to indicate that they are better suited for serving food, and they are too heavy to return, costing too much for shipment costs coming and returning than the set costs. Very disappointed. Why can't I find true mixing bowls in glass anymore?

The bowls stack which is a plus in a New York kitchen. They also allow me to pre-measure ingredients. In short they a wonderful in a small space.

very happy great price wish they had a bigger mixing bowl but I make do. I don't trust mixing or storing things in plastic or metal bowls.

amazing sizes

I've just started using these bowls, so far so good. Easy to store, and great to look at.

This Item is sold at walmart for $16.

It was a great buy but after purchasing I found the exact same set at walmart for alot less.

Cleared up our cabinet space.

Love these. We had several types of measuring/mixing/staging bowls that took up a ton of room in our cabinets. We were able to move many of them to a pantry or the basement and just need this very nicely stacked set.

Some of the smaller bowls were broken, glass seems rather thin.

Mixing Bowls and Prep bowls

I absolutely love these bowls. The only problem I had was it took forever for them to come in. I kept getting emails saying they were on back order. I wanted them so badly and it took so long that I finally found them in town and bought them here. When I got home, the bowls I had ordered had come in! So, I took the ones back I bought in town and kept the ones I ordered. But it took a looong time for them to come in.

Just what I needed, mostly

I've been looking for a bargain on a set of nesting mixing bowls for a long time, and was pleased to find this one. When it arrived, however, I discovered that one of the bowl--about the fourth one down--was smashed to smithereens. I planned o return the whole set, but time and aggressive recycling in my household made it tough to pull all the materials together. I tossed the shards of the broken bowl and happy with the rest, though after all this time of making do with whatever I could find, I don't know when I'll use them all

Wonderful set

This set is wonderful because each bowl"nests" into the next. The bowls were a bit smaller than I prefer but they are very nice and I would buy this set again!

Great set of Prep/Mixing Bowls..

These bowls are great, there are 10 of them in different sizes and they nestle together to save room in your cabinets. There are several small ones to use as prep bowls and larger ones to use as mixing or tossing. They are glass and can be used in the microwave and of course are dishwasher safe. They have been very functional for me.

Bowl thickness glass quality

I received this set that was very well packaged for shipment but with a broken piece on the ridge of one of the middle sized bowls in the set. It appears to have been broken prior to shipment, because the piece of glass scratched adjacent bowls and looked as if it had been that way for a while, because of the grandularity of the piece that broke. Regardless, I was surprised that the glass itself would have been that easy to mare and would expect it to be a better perhaps thicker glass construct. For a mixing bowl, it is expected to take somewhat of a beating, as opposed to serving dishes. I also noticed the glass itself was mottled on one of the bowls (giving a prism effect). I am not a glass expert, but something was definitely wrong with this batch of product. Cooking.com promptly refunded my purchase, and they did stand behind their satisfaction guarantee.

Nesting bowls

I purchased these as a replacement for bowls that I gave to a friend when I moved back to the East Coast, I actually forgot how much I missed them until I made a recipe with many ingredients; it was so nice to do all the prep and have the ingredients ready to go into the pot in order without having to scramble to get the next item ready. I Love, love, love my nesting bowls, will never be without them again.

I think the shipping is expensive. I have placed several on-line orders with various companies and most have had free shipping.

I love these bowls. There is a size for every use.

Throw out the tupperware!

htese bowls are great! great for separating prep ingredients and keeping everything organized! easy to store and keep clean. i'm buying another set!
