MY HUSBAND WAS THRILLED WITH THIS! IT CONTAINED EVERYTHING HE NEEDED TO GET STARTED. FRIENDS ALSO GAVE HIM THE SERVING SET, SO HE WAS DELIGHTED TO BECOME A SUSHI CHEF AT LAST!

I got this for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. It made a great gift because it had everything he needed to make sushi that day (I just made sure I had cucumber, avocado, and crab on hand). Having all the sauces and vinegars in one kit meant that we had instant fun, rather than taking time to pore over instructions to figure out what we needed to buy. The one drawback to the kit was that the instructions weren't as clear as he'd have liked - the first batch was confusing. However a quick on-line search got much clearer instructions and every batch he's made since has looked professional.

This is a great starter kit. Especially if you're a beginner. It has everything you need and fairly informative instructions. I wish it came with more sushi nori though.

This kit came with everything you need to make sushi! I have just recently become interested in this culinary feat and I really enjoy the versatility of this easy meal! I would reccommend this to anyone who is interested in sushi and does not have access to specialty stores who carry these fine ingredients.
