These pots heat and cool rapidly, so one has complete control over temperatures. Though they will discolor over time, it does not effect their capabilities and they can easily be brought back to their original brilliance with a good polishing. Some foods tend to stick more than others when cooking but with warm soapy water any remaining particles will come right off. I am happy to exchange a little elbow grease for the peace of mind these non-teflon products provide.
If you are one who desires design, performance, and beauty (with a little upkeep), then this is the set for you. I personally love these pots and will cherish them for the rest of my life their quality will outlast my generation.

Beautiful, but some upkeep required

Being copper on the outside, there is some tarnish to clean up, but the weight and the even heat distribution more than make up for this, just something to keep in mind. This is a very sturdy, professional set that will last us for a good long time! The bonus skillet and Dutch oven add to the great value! I love my purchase and highly recommend!
