For years we had an impossible dream: a nonstick pan that could sear as well as a traditional pan. Now Calphalon has made that dream a reality. The Calphalon 10-piece Unison Nonstick Cookware Set features the revolutionary Sear Nonstick surface -- a specially textured nonstick surface that has the searing capability cooks demand from professional-grade cookware with the convenience of nonstick. With Sear Nonstick you’ll get the flavorful browning that is so important when braising beef or sautéing vegetables. You may not believe that a nonstick pan can make crispy potatoes and seared salmon, or can even create the delicious brown bits at the bottom of the pan that are crucial for building pan sauces, but the Sear Nonstick can do it all, while using little or no oil, butter or fat.

For omelettes, delicate sauces, and other gentle applications, Unison Nonstick cookware includes Sear’s slippery sibling: Slide Nonstick. The Slide Nonstick surface releases food effortlessly, so your mushroom-gruyere omelette eases gracefully from pan to plate, remaining as beautiful as it is tasty.

With its two extraordinary surfaces and 10 useful pieces, this Calphalon cookware set will become indispensable in your kitchen.

Set includes:
  • 8-inch skillet
  • 10-inch skillet

    • Wished I bought them sooner.

I looked at this set for months debating to buy them or not because of the price. I finally decided to buy them because the paint was washing off the bottom of my old set (I didn't splurge on a Calphalon set the first time). I love that you can use less oil to cook with and when you're done you can just put in into the dishwasher and go. They are heavier than my old set- but I like it. I love this set-- just follow the directions that come with it before you cook with them.

      I recommend this product.

    • Great set

The pans seem to give nice even heat distribution so cook food evenly. The pans clean up easily, I expected a battle after melting sugar etc to make caramel, but probably could have wiped the residue out with a paper towel, if that isn't non-stick, what is. We haven't owned the set long but so far are completley impressed. The only minor downside is they are a little heavy, but that may be due to the fact that our old set wasn't such high quality.

      I recommend this product.

    • Very pleased with this set

My husband and I have each used this set now and love it. The slide non-stick works just as it shows in the video. We made gluten free crepes/non dairy(no butter--only coconut oil in the recipe) and they were fabulous--they cooked absolutely perfectly--easier than any pan we've had in the past. Quick/easy clean up, and they look nice too. Only con...one of the pots came with an exterior scratch, I like to scratch my own pots, thank you---not worth the hassle of returning though. Great price/especially with the bonus pan and utensils.

      I recommend this product.

    • Love This Set!!!!

I have used stainless cookware (All-Clad) for the past twenty-five years and while I loved it, it was getting HEAVY...and I was tired of the soaking and scrubbing. I have'nt used a nonstick pan or skillet since the late eighties-early nineties. I hated them then, they are what drove me to All-Clad. I love this set. I have used every pan. Clean up is a breeze. I've made candy and fudge and nothing sticks. The weight is just perfect. I am not a professional cook. I cook for my family. I'm a pretty good cook but these pans make my cooking better. The searing ability is just amazing. The company is great to work with if there is a problem. The eight-inch slide pan came to me damaged. I called Calphalon, sent it back and had the replacement with-in a week. I love the long handles as they balance the weight of the pots and pans with their contents when lifted. This is not the prettiest set of cookware I have ever owned but it is quickly becoming my favorite.

      I recommend this product.

    • Lids

Great product except for the lids. For some reason, Calphalon decided to put a "lip" where the metal meets the glass, instead of being flush like our older model. This creates a somewhat uncomfortable experience when washing the lids and also a difficult area to clean if washing by hand. Don't know why the design was changed but I believe it's a major flaw. I would like feedback from Calphalon designers why they made the change.

    • First quality or second

The pans function nicely but they appear to have flaws so I was thinking perhaps they are seconds.

      I recommend this product.
