Pans are wonderfully lite and easy to handle. Its best to follow the instructions on how to use. Clean up was a breeze.

Wished I bought them sooner.

I looked at this set for months debating to buy them or not because of the price. I finally decided to buy them because the paint was washing off the bottom of my old set (I didn't splurge on a Calphalon set the first time). I love that you can use less oil to cook with and when you're done you can just put in into the dishwasher and go. They are heavier than my old set- but I like it. I love this set-- just follow the directions that come with it before you cook with them.

Love the cookware!

They are a bit more money up front but when you consider that every couple of years spending 2-3 hundred dollars on a set that is a popular brand then this is a bargain after about 10 years. They clean up well, I love that they are dishwasher safe and have a lifetime warranty. I take care of my pans anyways as to not scratch but I think the dishwasher was truly why the others didn't make it. They are made right here in the USA as well. All pluses in my book!

Great set

The pans seem to give nice even heat distribution so cook food evenly. The pans clean up easily, I expected a battle after melting sugar etc to make caramel, but probably could have wiped the residue out with a paper towel, if that isn't non-stick, what is. We haven't owned the set long but so far are completley impressed. The only minor downside is they are a little heavy, but that may be due to the fact that our old set wasn't such high quality.

Great pans, worth the price!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these pans! The food I have prepared in these pans turned out perfectly, and nothing stuck to the pans. I love the fact that I can put these in the dishwasher if I want to however, I haven't because clean up was so easy. Love their shape and how heavy duty they are. Totally worth the price!

Cooking excellent; minor handles drawback

Excellent quality of cooking consistency and even heating with effective nonstick surface. The long handles are sturdy and great for handling on the stove but are a minor drawback when washing in a small sink or storing in a small cabinet. The lid handles can get hot after prolonged cooking. Overall a worthwhile product that I would buy again.

I love this cookware. I purchased my first set of Calphalon about 12 years ago and all but the saute pans are still in perfect condition. I initially purchased the 2 saute pans which were on special in this new set and was sold on the way whatever you cook browns up nice and crisp so I purchased the complete set. I have since this order purchased a couple other pots to complete my set. Also love the easy clean up and the fact that these pots are dishwasher safe. Am going to put my old set in my summer home.

Non-Stick & Dishwasher Safe

It was a pleasure to cook rice, turn the pot over the casserole and have ALL the rice slide right out. There were about 10 grains left in the pot, let it cool off in the sink and they rinsed right out. Put it in the dishwasher and the pot came out clean, dry and no spots. Wonderful! I do not use things in my kitchen if they can't go in the dishwasher.

Nice purchase!

We replaced a similar set we purchased in 1996 while in Europe that were starting to pit. Knew the Calphalon name, reviewed the products on-line and in local stores before we purchased with cooking.com. Use these pots and pans everyday. Nice sear feature.

just wish it didn't cost so darn much. BUT, the cookware is absolutely amazing. Nothing sticks, everything cooks well, AND it's dishwasher safe. PERFECT!!

Not what I expected from Calphalon.

I have always wanted Calphalon and was happy to see the sear aspect of them.So I took the plunge . I liked the look and expected an exceptional product , unfortunantly the pans do not sit level on my cooktop , they spin around. Very disappointing , I will send them back. Bummer, I was really looking forward to having the best cookware.

Wonderful Set

This is a wonderful selection in a set. From searing, to frying,to reducing, etc, they cover most everything. They are easy to clean and radiate heat excellently for cxontrolling temperature when cooking.

Fantastic set we Love it !

This is by far the best cookware set we have ever owned. First thing we noticed was how evenly it cooks. the pans are well made very sturdy construction. The glass lids are absolutely wonderful, no need to remove the lid to check on whats cooking ! The nonstick surface is wonderful makes cooking a real delight. As with any nonstick surface the real question will be durability. The nonstick surface of any cookware is easily damaged by misuse, but should stand up to plastic or rubber utensils .

Preliminary - just received a few weeks ago

We purchased this cookware because our old cookware was worn out, and we wanted an American made product that would last. So far, the quality appears to be very good. We haven't cooked any large meals yet but look forward to doing so. It has performed well for everyday cooking. One thing that I am anxious to see is how it lasts over time. THANK YOU for keeping jobs in America. It is worth it to pay a bit more.

Christmas Gift

We havn't used these yet. We have two Nonstick Pans like these and my wife liked them so much she wanted a new set of Calphalon pans like them. We have been cooking with Calphalon for over 25 years.

Slide and Sear technology is great

We had an older generation of the non-stick Calphalon product and found searing meat and sauteing vegetables was a problem. The new Slide and Sear technology solves it all! We chose this set because it offered a perfect mix of form and function, at the right price. I'm writing this review 45 days after purchasing and I'm still very pleased with the product.

Love this cookware!! I'll never use any other brand again.
