Product is as shown, but hard to clean

This is a sturdy, large strainer, with crookedish legs to hold it on the sinktop. But I haven't had any problems. However, I took it out of the dishwasher and it smelled weird, so I took a good look at it, and tons of food was caught and stuck under the metal rim around strainer. What a bummer. I don't know where it came from, but it sure is hard to get out!

The colander needs support strips on the bottom that would keep it from rolling over when it is not over-the-sink.

I only have a single sink in the kitchen, so by the time dinner is almost done (and my pasta needs to be drained) my sink is rarely completely clean. I don't like the hot water splashing from a dirty sink back onto the pasta. So this colander pleases me since it keeps the food several inches above the sink surface. I like it. I wish it was a bit more sturdily constructed, but is has not failed me.
