Good Nonstick Panini Pan

Good non-stick coating, cleans up easily. Would have liked a little heavier press, but all in all does a great job with sandwiches, you can use as much butter or as little as you like.

Gourmet for cheap!

I have been wanting a panini grill for ages, but am too practical to spend $100 to make sandwiches! This was my answer. I grill DRY and it works wonderfully. It takes a little longer than an electric model might because you have to manually turn the sandwiches over; but is still pretty fast on medium heat - about 4 minutes if you heat grill and press while assembling the sandwich.

Great Pan

This pan has been fantastic! I have already used it for a few paninis and it is great for making quesadillas too! If you clean it with a paper towel while it is still hot it wipes down great!

A GREAT ADDITION TO MY CALPHALON KITCHEN

I was really excited to see this available for my kitchen. I love Calphalon products and have over the last six years replaced most of my pots and pans. I love Panini sandwiches but they are hard to make without a panini pan and this one works great! Our daughter visited over the 4th of July and was really estatic that I had also bought her one for her kitchen! Being non-stick is great for you dieters out there too as we made ours without any oil (or butter) and the bread was perfectly toasted!

Love this pan!

I was considering a circular grill pan before I bought this pan. The rectangular shape works well on the "bridge" element on our glass cook top. So far I have cooked boneless chicken breasts and pork chops in this pan... both came out with great grill marks and the clean-up was easy. Excellent purchase!

nonstick panini pan

I am very happy about buying the panini pan my bacon fries faster in it, and sandwiches turn out very pretty. I have a set of the nonstick pans and this one matched the set, am looking forward to completing the set.

Calphalon Panini Pan

I am a huge fan of Calphalon and wanted a smaller grill pan to fit on my burners on my stove. This is PERFECT ! Thank you for offering a wonderful product !

Worked great on my glass top stove

The rectangular shape of this pan worked really well with the lip on my glass top electric stove. Since it wasn't square or round, it fit on the burner inside the lips on the side and back of the stove. I put it on the burner with the press on top and let both parts heat to a high temperature. I then rubbed some olive oil on both sides of my steak and put it on the pan. The steak hit the pan with a nice searing sound. I put the heated press on the top and let it cook until there was a nice seared crust. The press was not hot enough to really cook the steak to done but did start the cooking process and kept it in good contact with the grilling ridges. When I turned it over, again, there was a nice searing sound from my steak. I again replaced the press on top to keep it in good contact with the ridges on the pan. I was very happy with the way the steak cooked. Nothing stuck and clean up was quick and easy. I would think this pan combo would also work well to grill vegetables. I would make sure to "grease" anything you want to cook first. If I have one "complaint" I wish the press was a little heavier since I think that would be better for panini sandwiches but I haven't tried the pan for that yet. When I do, I will probably push the press on the sandwich more than I think the press will flatten it with just it's own weight. I would recommend this grilling set as a less expensive alternative to cast iron, and definitely to anyone who has been frustrated with that annoying lip on their glass top stoves!

Overall - Excellent - More than panini.

Love my panini maker, much more than pannini you could cook. Follow directions included with package for heating and cleaning. Can cook eggs, French toast, etc.

not an electric but does a fine job.

Easy to use, easy to clean. We don't like cold sandwiches, so it is nice to have a simple way to make a panini for breakfast or lunch.

This is exactly what I was looking for, at a great price to make the sandwiches I love. Nothing like a Cuban sandwich to make for a perfect lunch!

Love my nonstick panini pan but wish the handle was at a different place, maybe even removable.
