This is the second Silpat that I have purchased. I got one a few years ago and loved it from the start. Keeps the baking sheets clean and helps with uniform baking. I gave my first baking sheet liner to my cousin who raves about it every time she uses it. I just had to get another one to possibly give as a gift to someone special.

This mat made my cookies come out perfect without any burned edges. The cookies did not stick at all like they do on my other cheaper mats. These are expensive but they are much better than the cheaper ones out there.

The Silpat liner is so handy both in and out of oven. I purchased only one, just in case it really wasn't that great, and now I realize I really could have used more during holiday candy making. No sticking, no mess, no sliding around, no curling up - it is perfect for candy making and cookie baking. I made English Toffee, Peanut Brittle, Turtles, Angel Candy and Coconut Bon Bons, and nothing stuck. Clean up is a breeze, too! Now it's time to order more...

If there is one thing I absolutely must have in my baking arsenal, this is it. It took about ten years of very regular use to finally require replacement of the last one, and that is only because I pressed too hard with a knife and cut it accidentally. Cookies are flawless and clean up a breeze. Pizzas come out perfect everytime.
