Worked great when I tried it. I like that it uses less water and less heating time than conventional pans on stove top cooking. And the order was received days earlier than expected.

OK when cooking for one. The texture of the pasta is not great (I'd recommend shortening the time on the types/amounts I've tried) but it's easy to "do and forget" as you don't have to watch for boil-overs. The plastic is cheap. For this price, I would expect a heavier, more rigid, easier to clean plastic. I might have given it 5 stars had it been priced at $3.99. The measuring holes in the top are handy.

Very easy to do and quick clean-up. The draining off the water is so much easier that the traditional pot and colander. And the pasta was cooked perfectly.

Had to be without a range for a short time while work was being done in my kitchen. Being able to use the microwave for pasta meant that we didn't have to to skip our usual couple-of-days-a-week pasta dishes. This product worked just as advertised. I now have a quick and reliable way to have pasta without a fuss.

Like many others we have an adult son who lives with us. He likes to cook pasta for him and his girlfriend farily often but is not particularly thorough in cleaning the starch out of the past pot and the dishwasher doesn't do that good a job after it has sat a while. I usually get stuck finishing the cleaning.
I saw this cooker and decided it was well worth the price if it avoided the dirty pot, not to mention heating up the kitchen. I have to admit that I have not tried it for us yet, but it has seemed to work fine for my son despite his initial reluctance to try it. A quick rinse and throw it in the top of the dishwasher and that's it.
I also think the younger ones like the much shorter cooking time compared to cooking pasta in a pot. It's almost like a microwave dinners they like, and it doesn't smell so bad.

A good value, for the price. Great when time is limited - faster cooking time, and much less clean-up that a large pot plus strainer, etc. You'd never know it wasn't cooked using the tradional boiling method. I'd like to have a larger version that could accomodate a full pound of pasta at one time.

The cooker is fast and gives a nice product. We will enjoy more pasta, especially in the summer, with this cool way of cooking it. There is much less steam in the kitchen. Cooking for two just got easier.

I've been reading the reviews and all I can say is that my pasta has been perfect each time. It really doesn't save any cooking time, but it does eliminate all the mess and cleaning up afterwards. And, I've never gotten pasta cooked that perfect on the stove. I have nothing to compare it to, but I think it's a great little device and I give it 5 thumbs up.

Loved this product - easy to handle with no chance of mishap. Wonderful to have the extra cooking space and ability to fit in with a full menu. Or simply to cooki up some pasta without all the kettles, etc.
Wouldn't mind a pasta cooker with larger capacity.

We eat a lot of pasta. This is an alternative prep method. The pasta tastes different than it does when prepared in a boiling pot. Different but still very good.
