Large-alittle hard to handle

I have weak thumbs. It is so large, it is a little hard to manipulate if too many potatoes are put in at once.

Gotta Have One

by Paul, LA

The best ricer I've ever used, and I've used a few. If you don't have one get this one. Heavy duty, with a little extension to rest on the pot. It will hold up for years and you'll pass it on to your kids or grand kids.

Excellent product. Heavy duty. A bit pricy, but well worth it.

Mashed Potatoes

by Patricia, AZ
December 1, 2011

I have never owned a ricer but after reading so many reviews I decided to order it. I used it this year to get better mashed potatoes. They turned out great, they were delicious so fluffy. Everyone loved them, no lumps.

Quite Adequate Ricer!

by Carolyn W, TX
May 3, 2012

This ricer will help you make smooth mashed potatoes and a nice smooth custard for sweet potato pie. I thought it would be larger than it actually is. I don't consider it "jumbo", but it's more than adequate for most recipes that require a smooth consistency.

Potatoes at Thanksgiving

by Sherrie, OK
November 13, 2012

I bought this product to use at Thanksgiving this year. I am always in charge of the mashed potatoes and have been wanting a ricer for several years. I decided this was the year I get it. I can't wait to use it. It is a large ricer and looks easy to use.

Should I use a potato ricer?

by Bruce, WA
November 20, 2012

My mother used a potato ricer as I grew up and I loved it. The only thing about this that I wondered about was the size of the holes. It may be easier to push the plunger down if the holes were just a little bit larger. My husband had somewhat of a hard time pushing it down. I still am glad I bought it, I've been wanting one for quite some time now. Thanks, Patti S.
