it works very well for grilling items too small to grill on the grates alone; I use it for a lot of delicate fish-cooks well, but not fun to clean

liked overall. the only thing not pleased with was the handle too long to close the grill and sliced squash took a long time to cook.

great frying basket for shrimp or vegetables. Have used it for both. The best part is dishwasher safe. Love that.
