deep dish pizza

Used on a Big Green Egg. Taken from room temperature to 650 degrees without any ill effect.
Crust was evenly browned except for the center which was slightly doughy but the overall pizza was EXCELLENT.

A must have for my husband's favorite deep dish, all meat pizza, plus, the stone allows the crust to bake evenly, crusty, but not tough. Also good for brownies, or roasting a chicken. I'm very pleased, thank you. Kathy

i have a round stoneware bread baker that i use every week but after ten years the bottom pan cracked in half. i was happy to find the pizza stoneware pan at the Kraft store and now i can use it as a replacement and didn't have to buy the lid which i didn't need.

Fantastic

It comes with a recipe for pizza crust and sauce. It tells you how to clean it ( in water, no detergent, not dishwasher safe) It cannot go in a preheated oven or it will crack. However, the pizza is amazing that comes from it. The clay soaks up moisture. It is non sticking if one adds olive oil in the pan before putting in the dough. It is easy to clean after wards and one doesn't have to worry about aluminum leaching in the dish because it is clay (Aluminum leads to alzheimers). It is basically the same material shotgun skeets are made out of but a lot thicker. Works good for small families but not good for over 5 people.

However, we were disapointed that no instructions were included for use and care.
