I am returning this because I specified that I did not want any products that were made in China. The other two items I received did have the Toledo imprint. This one was made in China.

Once again a product turns out to be better than advertised. This griddle is heavy enough to withstand fairly high heat. Makes excellent pancakes & french toast & perfect for toasting sandwiches. Also tortillas come off it perfectly browned. And, of course, the price can't be beat!

Calphalon Griddle

Great griddle! I absolutely love it! It is the perfect size to make two sandwiches at a time. Four slices of bread fit great, and I'm not talking about little wimpy slices either. No stick at all. Fits nicely on the large burner of my stove. Nice weight also, not too heavy. I also purchased the set of Calphalon skillets and love them also! I always purchased T-Fal, but not anymore. Would make a great gift...for yourself or someone else! I am very pleased with my purchase.

pan is too shallow

This pan is too shallow for anything containing liquids. The sides are less than 1/4 inch high. I tried making scrambled eggs and they ran out of the pan and on the stove. I fried 6 slices of bacon and the grease reached the lip of the pan, dangerously close to running over and starting a fire.

Wonderful product ... just what I needed.

This completed my kitchen. Great product, cleans easily and grills with even heat on my flat top stove.

Calphalon Square Griddle Rocks

This is a great griddle. We use it almost every day. It is very well constructed, and well balanced in the hand. The handle is terrific, grip-wise. We love this product!

Good Buy - Very Helpful

I was weary of frying eggs and pancakes in a frying pan so purchased this griddle. As usual, my dealings with cooking.com were excellent and this item was no disappointment. It is well made, lightweight and easy to handle and wash.

I love my new griddle. I had one - not by Calphalon - that I purchased in 1984 and it had become warped and in bad condition. I decided that I needed a new one and there was no contest as to which brand to buy - it had to be Calphalon. I bought my starter set of Calphalon in 1984 and I am still using them as of this date. I now have 44 pieces of Calphalon and this does not include lids.

They make quality, long lasting cookware and no one should be afraid to invest in their products.

I had a problem with a Windsor pot so I called the company in Toledo and they told me to send them the pot and they would replace it which they did. They stand behind their products.

I do catering and I have given cooking classes so my Calphalon gets alot of use.

Best stove top griddle I've ever had

Besides the excellent Calphalon non-stick surface, this griddle is a great weight. It will not warp like the cheaper griddles will. It heats evenly and browns tortillas and grill cheese sandwiches beautifully. While I'm writing this, it occurs to me I'll have to try pancakes tomorrow morning! It works very well on my ceramic stove top.

I love using this griddle. I have purchased this for myself and 5 other family members who also love it.

Buy two and loose the dumbells.

The griddle is big and needs a large burner or heating element. The mass distributes the heat well because it has a lot of it ... mass that is. It reminds my wife of her exercise dumbells, so I may be the only one using it. Whatever problem you may have with this griddle, warping won't be one of them. Don't expect to fry an entire package of bacon on the thing without having bacon grease overflow the lowish edges and starting a kitchen fire. Perfect for omelets, sandwiches, pancakes, and other less flammable items.

great griddle

This griddle replaced a griddle we've had for 30 years. I wish we would have bought the new griddle sooner. Excellent quality and it appears to be very durable. Let's hope this one will last 30 years too.

teen friendly

The griddle is a great pan. It is made well, it is heavy and sturdy on the burners. Best of all my kids love it and use it all the time for grilled cheese sandwhiches and pancakes. It is very easy to clean!

I love the caphalon line, and needed a new griddle and was very satisfied with this one. It does eggs great, with very little fat, even though I bought it for pancakes! Great product.

BEST EVER!!

This is the second square griddle I have purchased from your company. This one is Caphalon and I love it. I have one in both my summer and winter home. I couldn't live without them. The quality is excellent and clean up is a breeze. I plan to get my daughter in law one for her birthday in January.
