Multiple layers of silicone bristles tackle all tasks. Gaps in the center bristles hold liquid as you transfer sauce from the bowl to the work surface, and tapered outer bristles let you baste poultry and roasts with ease. The silicone bristles are heat resistant to 600°F so you can baste in a hot pan or grill, and the angled Brush head keeps bristles off the countertop. I've only used this brush once, so far, to glaze a ham. I look forward to using it again and again. Cleaning it couldn't be easier; just put it in the dishwasher. If it lasts as long as I expect it to, the price is more than worth it.

I found this to be the nicest basting brush I have ever used. It is very sturdy, has a slight curve and the silicone 'bristles' clean so easily. I love it!

These silicone brushes are great. They work just as well or better than the old style brushes and cleaning them is far easier.
