The best silicone brush I have owned.

Nothing is quite as good as the old fashioned pastry brush for an egg wash but the silicone brush is superior in many ways to the bristle brush. Let me say that I have owned 3 or 4 silicone brushes, each one better than the last. The Oxo is the best I have tried to date. I like silicone because no bristles get in my food and it doesn't melt. I was always melting my brushes when applying barbecue sauce or basting something in the oven. It is also much easier to clean. My old bristle brushes always felt greasy even after going through the dishwasher.

No more hair in my food!

I love it! No more hair coming out like the Oxo natural brissle brush. Works very well and cleans up easy.

The use of my basting brushes is very helpful. So much so, that I have given many as gifts to my family and friends. They are dish washer safe and spread oils and butter with little mess.
A smaller size would be easier to handle.

Would buy again..

I purchased this for two BBQ cooks, and both said they like it. This brush is easy to clean in the dishwasher!

Modern Basting

For years I used a old fashion bristle hair basting brush. It was hard to clean and lost its shape. Now I never have to worry about the bristles or the drips.

i was expecting a good brush and i don't like the way this is made, i don't like the material.

These silicone brushes are great. They work just as well or better than the old style brushes and cleaning them is far easier.

Sturdy and well made

I found this to be the nicest basting brush I have ever used. It is very sturdy, has a slight curve and the silicone 'bristles' clean so easily. I love it!

I've only used this brush once, so far, to glaze a ham. I look forward to using it again and again. Cleaning it couldn't be easier; just put it in the dishwasher. If it lasts as long as I expect it to, the price is more than worth it.
