Interesting that you are seeking feedback on this product. It looks great but the rim on the top and the bottom is very, very thin and even with no children at home there is a small chip on the pedestal rim. Don't know how you would advise a future buyer other than saying it is very, very delicate!

very dissappointed

Ok I bought this as a gift for my mother and she loved it. She had used it twice and the third time - if it was a freak accident or not - the lid and stand clicked together when she placed them on the counter and the stand cracked up and broke.
We are so disappointed. It was so very pretty.

Fabulous yet delicate

This cake stand is beautiful and wonderful to present a cake to your loved one, but it's very fragile and may not hold up to households with lots of activity. A classic cake stand -- fairly air tight to maintain freshness -- and simply beautiful.

This item was to replace one broken in a household move. This stand/cover is perfect and just what I was looking for. I saw one in a local shop - it was priced at $125.00! Yours and theirs looked identical but your price beats the socks off the other.

This product was recommended to me by a friend. I have arthritis
in my hands so it is not easy for me to pick up the heavier domes
I have tried to use. This cake stand is not only pretty sitting on
my counter, but the dome can be lifted easily. It is still of
substantial weight so not to be too fragile. I have enjoyed
using it this holiday season.

Ideal Cake Stand for Baked Goods!!

This cake stand is the perfect addition to any kitchen. Made of fine quality crystal clear glass and large enough to hold pies, cakes, cookies, muffins, and breads, etc. I highly recommend it!!

We have looked at several big box stores and found a few like products, however they all were very heavy and the knob on top would slip out of my hand.
This pedistal cake stnad with dome looks truly elegant on my table. It is light weight and very easy to remove the dome.

Beautiful Form

I like beautiful as well as functional. Bormioli's cake stand is a beautiful form. I leave it on the sideboard even when it is empty. I have received compliments on it because of it's beauty. It also showcases the cake for entertaining extremely well.

Perfect

As a replacement for an antique glass cake stand, this couldn't be better. It is attractive, not expensive, holds a lot, and very sturdy, given that it is on a pedastal. Keeps things fresher far longer than I would have expected. My son, his three daughters and even my dog always head first to the kitchen to see what goodies are there. Just as it should.

Love the cake stand and dome. Not only does it look pretty on my counter but it a great size for a large cake.
