This was a replacement for another cover that I have used for years. This one is bigger, clearer (so you can still see the plate and its contents), and sturdy. I'm very pleased with it and if I get half of the use I got out of the old one, I'll be very happy.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Deluxe Plate Cover. I wanted something to contain spatters in my microwave oven and it works really well. It is heavy enough that it does not burn or melt.

I love to cook but I also love eating leftovers. I've spent years using an upside down plate or bowl to cover a plate of food to re-heat in the microwave. I've had to deal with messes and burning myself. I figured this was the cost of heating something in the microwave. This cover works 200% better than any other method and the you can't beat the price. It even fits perfectly over my plates and it vents the steam, so no more messes in the microwave to clean up.
