Well constructed grill pan

The nonstick coating on this pan holds up quite well and when the instructions are followed (lightly oil with a paper towel before use and after washing), it releases food readily. The high sides catch any spattering as well as the solid construction and sturdy handle make it a great buy and I expect years of use from it.
I do have a few reccomendations for further improvement: 1. I would like to see a square lid that can be purchased to allow for faster grilling (save about 15 minutes to thoroughally cook a chicken breast) as well as 2. more pronounced ribs to provide better grill marks and prevent the food from resting on the bottom of the pan. It appears the ribs were not cast with the pan, rather stamped into place (like the embossing on a credit card) so they are about 1/8 inch from the bottom pan surface.

My brother recommended this grill pan and I love it!
I've used several times. It does a fantastic job and is very easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

Don't like to BBQ outside. Love this grill pan to keep meat out of the grease and give the meat a nice char marks. Grills veggies too.
