Cool Shaker!

I love this product. I have three! I have looked at other shakers but none have the airtight lids that keep the contents fresh.

As soon as my order arrived, I had ordered 2, I filled one with flour and the other with powered sugar. I like the fine mesh screen for shaking and sifting, and the opaque plastic cap that keeps air and moisture out.

II COULD NOT FIND A POWDERED SUGAR SHAKER ANYWHERE UNTIL I CHECKED WITH COOKING.COM.
I HAVE AN ANCIENT PLASTIC ONE AND MY DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW ARE CONSTANTLY TELLING ME THEY NEED ONE.
I USE IT FOR PANCAKES AND BAKED GOODS AT THE HOLIDAYS WHEN SERVING.
I COULD NO LONGER FIND THE PLASTIC TYPE AND HAVE BEEN LOOKING IN EVERY TYPE STORE FOR ONE BUT TO NO AVAIL.
EVERYONE WAS SO HAPPY THAT I FOUND THIS WONDERFUL STAINLESS STEEL SHAKER, WHICH COMES WITH A LID (MY PLASTIC ONE DID NOT HAVE A LID).

So useful for storing many baking essentials ( flour) or "extras" such as cinnamon sugar or vanilla sugar. Makes baking and decorating so easy and quick. A good buy!!

best I've purchased

I use these for confectioners sugar, powdered sugar, and as a flour shaker for quick gravies and sauces etc. This is the best of three different manufacturers versions I've owned, with snug-fitting plastic cap and fine-mesh top.

Just what I needed, and it comes with a lid so you don't end up with lumps of powdered sugar when it's humid... Hate when that happens! Love this shaker!

Finally found it!

I bought several different containers for powdered sugar sprinkling and none of them worked right. I finally looked online at your sight knowing I would at least get a good recommendation of where to look. I was pleasantly surprised to see you had it right there. I had it in my hands several days later and it works perfectly! My four year old grandson uses it to sprinkle his pancakes with and he is able to use it with ease and no mess! Thank you so much!

This shaker was exactly what I was looking for. The price was within my range. I have shown it to my oldest daughter and her mother-in-law and they both thought of several uses for it. I told them where I bought it and what I paid. They both agreed it was reasonable. I am currently thinking about purchasing more for Christmas gifts as my daughters and I love to bake and would have many uses for the shaker. Thank you very much for offering such a fine product. It's Okay

I didn't expect it to be so small. But the problem is that I have to shake it pretty hard for the flour to come through. It takes me awhile to sift flour.

Perfect for Powdered Sugar!

I got this to dust my pizzelle with powdered sugar and it 100% fits the bill! It even comes with a cap to put on over the mesh, so I just keep powdered sugar in it, ready to dust whenever! I might even buy another for cinnamon sugar... Great!

This is great, because it comes with a cap. The majority of mesh shakers don't. But with this one I can put powder sugar in it and store the excess in the container. That way, I waste less and don't have to dump the excess back into the package or throw it away.

Better Than Expected

I was able to purchase this item with a Steamy Kitchen gift cerificate. As a first-time buyer from this site, the GC made it easy to "test-buy" a product without spending much (if any) money. I had just fixed French Toast for visiting family and was wishing I had something like this to put on the table for the powdered sugar. Once I got it, I tried it out immediately and was not disappointed. Love the storage lid. Great addition to my kitchen inventory!

This is a must-have item for anyone who does alot of baking. Works just like it is supposed to.

I got two of this with another item usng a website discount coupon - otherwise, regular price not that cheap for such a simple container. I could have bought even cheaper shakers at 1/2 price but the main reason I chose this over other brand shakers is the plastic cover that protects the top from dust and bugs/ants. Though it doesn't have a handle, it is small enough in diameter to hold comfortably. The flat fine mesh screen helps dispense fine powders like 10x confectioner's sugar and cocoa powder. The shaker is lightweight and decent chrome finish. I've had product for only 1 week so I don't know how well finish will stand over time.
