classic pectin

This is my second jar of this pectin. It works really well in the strawberry jam recipe I have been using. Make the jam jell perfectly.

I bought them for the Davis County Extension.

We order every year and sometimes sell all we have.

My new best friend

I sat down and flipped through my new Blue Book Guide to Preserving when I first got it, and it has already become my new best friend in the kitchen. Can't wait to use it during canning season.

Best Garden Sauce Ever

I have been canning sauce for several years I grow extra tomatoes just so I can have fresh sauce all winter and this year was the best. I usually use my own spices but last year I used Italian-style Pasta sauce mix I have gotten so many compliments my grandsons go crazy over my sauce so I thank you for that. I would use and recommend this everyone who cans.

I love that I can find anything-freezing, canning, drying, etc. in the book. Just go to the index and everything is listed. Great Book, Thanks!!!

Damaged when received

Box was sitting in rain and soaked. Book wet and damaged. Box fell apart. Jars were wrapped in plastic and fine but book was on top and was dripping when I took it out of the box. I want to return it but can't return it in original packaging as it designing rated. I'm very disappointed. I love my old Ball Blue books and wanted the anniversary one!

These are the best labels ever.

These labels are a great buy. The price is fair. The labels stay in place until you try to remove them and then they come off the jars easily. They are the best labels I've ever purchased.
